How much does the game cost?
The digital version of the LISA: The Painful - Definitive Edition is $19.99, the digital version of LISA: The Joyful - Definitive Edition is $9.99 and the bundle version LISA: Definitive Edition is $24.99.

What languages does the game support?
The game currently supports English on all platforms. French, Italian, German, Spanish (EU), Spanish (LATAM), Portuguese (Brazil), and Russian are supported on PC, Switch, and Xbox with PlayStation support coming soon. Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean will accompany the game's release in Asian regions later this year.

Will the game support cross-buy between PS4 and PS5 consoles?
Yes, the game will support cross-buy on PlayStation consoles.

Does the game support trophies across all platforms?
The game supports trophies and achievements on Steam and across all consoles, including a platinum trophy on PS4 and PS5.

Is LISA: Definitive Edition just a port or an expansion of the original game?
LISA: Definitive Edition contains the original core experience of LISA, and it also includes new content, features, music, and more.

Does LISA: Definitive Edition include LISA: The First?
No, LISA: Definitive Edition does not include LISA: The First, however we do have plans to bring the story of LISA: The First to fans in a different way. Please stay tuned!

Will there be new party members in the LISA: Definitive Edition?
LISA: The Definitive Edition will not feature any new recruitable characters, but new characters are something we may consider adding in the future!

Will LISA: Definitive Edition feature new achievements?
No, LISA: Definitive Edition will not feature any new achievements.

How long will LISA: PAIN & JOY - 2xLP Vinyl Soundtrack pre-orders be open?
The first batch of pre-orders ends in 8 weeks. Orders are currently expected to begin shipping in early 2024.

Does LISA: PAIN & JOY - 2xLP Vinyl Soundtrack include a digital soundtrack download?
Yes, each vinyl soundtrack will include a digital soundtrack download code.

For Steam Users

Will owners of the original LISA: The Painful or LISA: The Joyful have access to the Definitive Editions?
Yes, the Definitive Editions will come as a free update on Steam for owners of either LISA: The Painful or LISA: The Joyful. These are available as launch options when you start the game in the Steam client.

Will the original versions of LISA: The Painful and LISA: The Joyful still be playable?
Yes, upon launching LISA: Definitive Edition, you will have the option to launch the original or Definitive Edition of each game. All legacy launch options will be preserved.

When I run either Lisa game on my Steam Deck, it tries to load the original (Linux) release. How can I run the Definitive Edition on my Steam Deck?
We are working on a long-term, automatic solution to this (plus Deck verification). For the time being, you can do the following to run the Definitive Editions on your Steam Deck:

• Navigate to the game details page for LISA
• Before launching the game, select the cogwheel on the right of this page to open the game-specific settings popup.
• Select “Properties”.
• Select “Compatibility”.
• Check the “Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool” box
• Select “Proton 8.0-2”
• Return to the game details page.
• You may have to wait for Steam to download some additional data for the game at this point.
• Press Play!

You should now be able to select between the Definitive Editions and the original versions of the game.

How can I access the Definitive Edition games on Steam?
When you start LISA from your Steam Library, you will see the Definitive Edition for the LISA titles that you own added at the top of the launch options.

Will my save files from the original games transfer over?
No. Original game saves and Definitive Edition saves are not transferable between versions.

Does the Definitive Edition support DualSense controller features through Steam?
Unfortunately, due to engine-side limitations and platform licensing restrictions, we aren't able to offer most DualSense features on PC. You can still play with a DualSense controller if you wish. The lightbar is supported, and you’ll get limited rumble effects, but these don’t reflect the experience that you’d get on a PS5. When playing on Steam, Xbox One/Series and PS4 controllers offer better rumble quality overall.

Does the Definitive Edition have a Win32 version?
No, The Definitive Edition does not support Win32 architecture. While the Definitive Edition does not support Win32 architecture, the original RPG Maker versions do.

Does the Definitive Edition have a MacOS version?
The Definitive Edition does not currently support a MacOS version, however the original RPG Maker versions do.

Will additional platforms or storefronts be supported in the future?
We have nothing to announce currently.
