In the dystopian world of Saturn, where music has been banned for over a century, rebellion brews beneath the surface. You will play as B0B0, a daring Singer determined to fight for Saturn's freedom and restore music to the silent world.

As B0B0, you will harness the power of music to fuel their moves in the unforgiving landscape of Saturn. Utilizing real-time execution of moves in rhythm game style, players engage in tactical battles against the authorities, swapping between different movesets and tactics to overcome challenges. With classic turn-based combat infused with rhythm-based mechanics, every encounter becomes a test of skill and timing.

History

Keylocker is a bizarre and colorful turn-based rhythm JRPG. Play as the singer and songwriter, B0B0, and take down a despotic regime that has outlawed all sound. Fuel your moves with the electric power of music by using real-time execution of moves in rhythm game style! Battle the authorities, unlock the secrets of Saturn, play in your own band’s concerts, and hack into the network to bring an end to this corrupt system, for better or worse. Inspired by the charm and physical comedy of the Mario & Luigi RPG series, with the mechanics and storytelling depth of Chrono Trigger.

Game Features

• Choose your path: shape your destiny as a cyberpunk rebel, where each class has its own unique skill tree and storyline.
• Control electricity with your own music! Transform it into attack or defense as needed, swapping between different movesets and tactics.
• Classic turn based combat with a real-time twist: master perfect timing to aim your shots, time your attacks, parry and block your enemies across this unforgiving planet.
• No random encounters: fight your enemies head-on with seamless in-world battles, where each fight counts.
• Pull the strings of society: befriend the citizens, or betray them, hacking into their profiles to acquire resources or to change the course of the story with multiple endings.
• Rock out: play with your band in the Music Show minigame, featuring compositions by Elektrobear (Momodora, Virgo Versus The Zodiac), with lyrics by Psamathes.
• Customize your Doppelganger: choose from a wide variety of equipment, weapons, and skills, unlocking special Talents using the Keys harvested from enemies you DELETE in combat.
• An interactive world: explore Saturn and interact with every object to unearth secrets, rewards or entire pieces of knowledge about the planet.
